Trainer Comments
Race 1
Brett Webber
No 7 Britannia Queen - Speedy sort, will need the run
Grant Maroun
No 6 Great Prosperity - Could run into the placings
No 9 Pearl Dream - Could run into the placings
No 11 Splat The Cat - Is the best of my runners here and should be in
the shake up
Race 2
Geoff Woodruff
No 5 Insignis - Consistent filly and should once again run close up
Race 3
Brett Webber
No 13 Split The Bill - Has been disappointing up till now. Hoping for
some improvement over the longer trip.
Tobie Spies
No 12 Prince Of Byword - Needs improvement
Race 4
Dianne Stenger
No 8 Magic's First - Should run well
Scott Kenny
No 5 Midnight In Paris - Ran an improved race last time. She is
distance suited but has a bit of a wide draw to overcome. Has an each
way chance
Race 5
Geoff Woodruff
No 5 Sunshine Silk - Is distance suited and carries a light mass but i
do respect the fact that she is taking on male company.
Race 6
Brett Webber
No 3 Earth Sky - Is in good form and expecting another good run
Scott Kenny
No 11 Village Deep - Is course and distance suited and should again be
competitive with his light weight.
Race 7
Roy Magner
No 1 Dancing Queen - Not 100 % fit due to rain interrupted program
Tobie Spies
No 2 All Of Me - Has a place chance
Race 8
Grant Maroun
No 15 Candela - Small place chance
No 9 Queen Of War - Her last run is best ignored. She has a good each way chance

Ideal opportunity to start at around mid-day; however first race only at 13:25 - thunderstorm predicted at around 16:00 - don't have to be a genius to know what's going to happen ....

My Fancies:
R1 TANAS EAGLE (meeting a weak field)
R3: FORT CAROL (was unlucky last time when it was backed as if the result was known)
R7: ALL OF ME (great value)

Gold Griffin to run in the first four about the same odds as Fort Carol to win
Why stress that the horse must win

8 race program .... let's see how far we get
R1: Tana's Eagle the obvious one after 2 good runs - however good betting support for Collateral Beauty, Splat the Cat (finished 1.4 lengths behind TE) and Winning Queen - these 4 stand out imo - draws may be the difference
R2: Competitive; Fort Ember well in with the allowance, but not the most consistent these days; Insignis on the other hand always thereabouts so definite chance; I think Guns and Roses is an upset possibility if recapturing the form that saw her running just over 4 lengths behind Nother Russia
R3: Looks a 2 horse contest between the two favorites; Flapjack may prefer slightly further and Fort Carol slightly shorter, so who knows ..... trainer seems pretty confident that Blessington can run into the money
R4: Improving fillies looking to get that maiden win; Ever Fair, Magic's First and Midnight in Paris look the obvious ones, but the value imo is Giglio - on a line through Cantata Mundi should finish in front of MiP
R5: I did not think Wonderous Climber could win last time, but he did look to have something in the tank - only Sunshine Silk weighted to beat him today, but she has not won since May last year off this rating, so could be rated a touch too high - these two should dominate here; for me Tirzan next best
R6: Tough handicap; I fancied Samar last week, but he got going too late - effective over this trip and looks good value at these odds; Powered Beauty is finding betting support and is a danger with the obvious ones like Highlander, Village Deep, Tendre and maybe Earth Sky
R7: This race will probably make or break the P6; on form and ratings Dancing Queen can't lose; but according to the trainer, she is 'not 100% fit' - over 1000 it may not be that crucial - I just have a feeling though that something could run her down late
R8: Very tough F&M Handicap to close; obvious ones are Elbi, Ilha Da Var and Coyote Girl, but there are plenty of others with chances; my idea of an each-way (at nice odds) would be Fictitious - not much be between her and IdV on their penultimate meeting and Bling has been engaged for a stable that had a winner on Tuesday
Enjoy - while it lasts

Eighty Four in the same race also worth a place bet at much bigger odds
