Sad that Billy Silver's move to Gauteng because there are insufficient galloping courses in KZN...:( :( :(

I thought Billy Silver impressive - the 2nd and 3rd horses certainly no slouches - but the way BS accelerated  think he will win many more here

Suspension coming up for not riding out to get the best possible position.
Looked like he thought he was going to get second comfortably so didn't give her a hard ride but gets beaten on the line by two other horses.

Rode to the line, just very weakly :(

Did not see the re-play - but the Tarry filly cost me doubling up in both the BP and PA - lesson to self - don't just ignore Tarry first-timers - no matter the price) :(

You still running which is good though.
I luckily had the Tarry horse in my PA so a bit happy Zackey didn't try on his horse but as Magi pointed out jockeys have to ride all the way to the line as punters play different bets not only wins so a jockey not trying can cost punters money and the stipes have to take measures to stop this happening.
Whoever can watch the replay I would like to know what they think as I thought it was obvious he didn't give it a proper go.

The part that always baffles me, is whether champion jockey or not, why take the horse to the inside where the going is dead? He is drawn on the outside, but deliberately goes to the inside knowing that nothing was going to happen. This after he won the first race hard up on the outside.

I am a big Lyle fan, but come on man, what were you thinking here boitjie???

Imo, today is a bit of a lottery, yes the inside seems a bit dead, but the outside is now getting very cut up, so it may yet be worth a gamble when drawn towards the inside, to go right to the inside rail - if it works, the jock will be praised, it it does not, everybody will say 'how can he do that'?

Also seems a bit strange imo that the track has been split about 75/25, why not open up the inside as well ?
