UK racing Thursday

#747163
3 day and one night meeting
Southwell , Hexam and Exeter
Chelmsford City this evening

WELL ABOVE PAR at 17/20 looks very hard to beat 14.30 at Hexam
Basically just has to repeat what he did 8 days ago.

Only Glittering Love could be a threat for trainer Nicky Richards but cant see it beating the top weight

Good punting

Connections of Country 'n Western must have gone all out laying their horse on the exchanges.
Jock must have been told do anything to lose the race.
Six horse field and he goes four wide the entire trip over 2200m.
Being able to lay horses is the worst thing that could have ever happened to horse racing.

Glad to see it's not only me who thought the ride was a bit suspect.

Dropping back in trip,he holds him up and 5 or 6 widths from the rail.

keep the fav out the back and wide.

Would never have won, but too far back on a horse down in distance.
Report EVILROYSLADE • December 20, 2018 11:56 AM GMT
Money on here for the winner just a minute before the off.

As Tallywagger said.

No issue with the wide pitch as he did that last time but was never more than a length of the leader. Wouldn't have won with a better ride but the jockey made sure it wasn't winning today.
Report handtorofe • December 20, 2018 11:59 AM GMT
Backed it and felt lucky to be able to trade out considering it was never going well
Report MillionaireMaker • December 20, 2018 12:00 PM GMT
Don't give me that would never have won bs.

If it didn't run a furlong further and was actually put into contention you don't know how the winner would react.

The Sport is rotten.

Very testing conditions and even worse at Exeter today.
They reckon you can expect only half the fields to finish and the finishers just about walking at the finish.
