Race 1 - Empire Glory 33/10

Looked all the winner LTO and should go very close here over the same c&d.

Race 2 - Bunker Hunt 16/10

Very progressive horse. Still very green and clumsy as seen LTO but has a lot of potential. The field he beat LTO included Majestic Mozart who went on to run 4th in the Cape Classic and then 2nd behind Cirillo. Still on the upgrade and should continue to progress. Biggest danger must be Knights Templar who also seems a smart sort.

Race 3 - Bella Summer 17/10

Looks about ready to win now. Just finding one too good in her last two starts. Thought she'd be around 1/1 so I thought worth a bet at that price.

Juniper Spring and Silver Maple should also he winning their races but very restrictive odds.

Trainer Comments

Race 1

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 2 Dragon Power ; Punters should be cautious as he is not the
soundest of horses but his form suggests he must have a chance if he
can respond under pressure. We have freshened him up well for the run.
6 No 6 Dismantle The Sun : Surprising effort on debut. He has improved
at home and could have an each-way chance.
Glen Kotzen
No 4 Inertia tries Blinkers and could get into the Quartet.
No 7 Gold Pact : 1000m a bit short and may need this run.

Race 2

Glen Kotzen
No 6 Quick Star has a big shout and could be my best hope for a winner
at this meeting

Race 3

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 1 Bella Summer found one better to touch her off in her last few
starts. She is knocking on the door and is ready to win. Looks the
filly to beat on a line through Be Yourself.
Joey Ramsden
No 3 Yolta is looking for 2000m.
Glen Kotzen
No 4 Apache Squaw needs the run.
No 7 Je Ne Sais Quoi is a nice filly but is badly drawn so may need this run.

Race 4

Joey Ramsden
No 2 Sparkling is better drawn this time so I am expecting a better
run from her.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 6 Epic Storm wears the Blinkers to try and sharpen her up this time
but is still a weak filly and will need to improve on current form to
feature in a race like this but could have an outside chance of
finding the frame. Blinkers strike
No 9 Over Taking needs to improve and needs further to be effective.
Glen Kotzen
No 7 Mary Moon definitely will need the run.
No 9 Spoils Of War could improve and hopefully earn some money.

Race 5

Joey Ramsden
No 2 Still I Rise " Hoping she stays this 2000m.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 5 Perfectproportions has a lot going for her this time in terms of
draw and weight in a small field and as such must have a good each-way
chance.

Race 6

Glen Kotzen
No 3 Pearl Tiara is a very nice filly but might just need this run.
She can get into the Quartet.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 5 Cruise Along : Drawn 1 and this is a cherry ripe run for her
being third run back. We hoping to give Fillies Guineas hopeful
Juniper Spring a good run for her money.

Race 7

Snaith Racing
No 1 Doublemintis fit but will find the 1400m on the sharp side but is
worth including in all bets.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 2 Our Mate Art took his Merchants run well. The 1400m is probably
his best trip. If he bounces back with his best run then he should
have a good each-way chance.

Joey Ramsden
No 3 A New Dawn will need the run.
No 4 Macduff loves this distance
Paddy Kruyer
No 6 Earth Hour ; 1400m may be a little sharp.
Dean Kannemeyer
No 7 Silva's Bullet is doing well but may need the run. This distance
is on the short side.

Race 8

Glen Kotzen
No 1 Princess Vicky is trying Blinkers
No 13 Captains Treasure is badly drawn and this is a tougher field for her
Joey Ramsden
No 2 Sugerpova looks to be poorly handicapped
Dean Kannemeyer
No 6 Elle Va is doing well but may just need the run

Maybe just maybe going to the outside cost the horse again.
