"Group" RESULTS - 'Sunday' 20 July Workings.

Afternoon.
This afternoon completed, and went as follows:
The 1st runner we wanted 2.5, and with being around 2.8 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner looked in trouble, but dug deep to get the win, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave.....
The 2nd runner we wanted 1.6, and with being around 1.81 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner had the race in the bag going to the last, but toppled over and so got beaten! Heart attack saved then, but 'one that got away in hindsight'........
The 3rd runner we wanted 2.32, and with being a well supported 1.92 and slightly shorter on arrival, we had a lay at 1.92 max. The lay was easily beaten, so the gamble foiled and a good result........
The 4th runner we wanted 2.0, and with drifting to around 2.32 on arrival and only getting bigger, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr. Early traders happy though.........
The 5th runner we wanted 3.3, but a non runner and 13.3% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.99 (3.00 nearest exchange price). The price had drifted to around 3.25 on arrival and only getting bigger, it was another race for race to race players to avoid. The runner was beaten and so another drift beats race to racers to the punch. Grr. Early traders happy though......
The 6th runner we wanted 3.5, and with drifting to around 3.65 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 3.5 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.......
The 7th runner we wanted 1.5, and with being around 1.67 on arrival and then dropping down to us near the off, we had a lay at 1.5 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.........
The 8th runner we wanted 2.1, and with being around 2.06 and slightly shorter on arrival, we had a lay at 2.06 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result....
The 9th runner we wanted 3.3, but a non runner and 5.3% reduction we wanted a lay price of 3.18. The price was around 3.8 on arrival and never came back down to us, so race to racers had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr. Early traders happy though.........
The 10th runner we wanted 1.5, and with being around 1.41 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 1.41 max. The lay went and won and so the way it goes. Traders did get their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.........
The 11th runner we wanted 3.5, and with being a well supported 2.88 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.88. The lay was easily beaten and so a good result......
The 12th runner we wanted 2.32, but a non runner and 3.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.28. The price was around 2.38 on arrival and then dropped down to us and so we had a lay at 2.28. The lay was beaten and so a good result........
The 13th runner we wanted 2.7, The race is over 20 minutes away, all strategy play is completed and just a little trading left on offer, so I'm leaving it there guys. Good luck trading these remaining runners........
WELL PLAYED......
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won 3 targets...........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 3rd runner, and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 6th runner)........They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 7th runner, and hit on that runner.........They then started their 3rd strategy/target on the 8th runner, and hit their targets on their 3rd lay (the 12th runner).......They then ran out of enough potential lays left to start another strategy/target and so end the session winning 3 targets...
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 3rd runner) at 1.92, and a good result see 4 runner players hit their targets.....
5 runner builders needed a little more and played on with their 2nd lay (the 6th runner) at 3.5 max, and a good result see them hit their targets...
