RACE 1 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
8 / 6 / 13 / 1

DUNCAN MCKENZIE
Number 1 - KING OF PROMISE : He posted a good local on Poly. He is now on grass but can run well.

JACQUES STRYDOM
Numbers 3, 7, 10, 12, 16, 17 and 18 - CHANONE’S THEORY, TARIQUE, TIBETAN ROUGE, MONEY BUYS LOVE, GRACI LITEHOUSECAT, HURRICANE SASHA & ALTRUISITIC : Chanone’s Theory will need this racing off a break. Tarique could manage the back end of quartets. Tibetan Rouge must improve. Improvement is expected from Money buys Love. Graci Litehouse Cat has her first run for the yard and will come on from it. Hurricane Sasha ran another good race on Wednesday, she must have a chance here again. Altruistic has a place chance in an open field.

RACE 2 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
15 / 8 / 13 / 14

JACQUES STRYDOM
Numbers 5 and 13 - AQUILINA & BOLDNESS : Aquilina is always trying. Boldness ran a great race last time out and a repeat of that is expected.

ALAN GREEFF
Number 15 - BUSHIRI : Distance should suit, she is better than her last.

RACE 3 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
5 / 4 / 1 / 2

TARA LAING
Numbers 1, 2 and 3 - AFRIKABURN, STORMY ECLIPSE & GO DIRECT : Afrikaburn races fresh but we are expecting a good run and he is a runner here, as is Stormy Eclipse. Go Direct is a very nice horse, but he will need this off a long break.

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 4 and 5 - KIMBERLEY STAR & STREAK OF SILVER : Kimberley Star prefers grass. Streak of Silver has run on well in both starts so far. Both can be thereabouts.

RACE 4 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
2 / 8 / 1 / 3

ALAN GREEFF
Number 2 - THREE TIMES A LADY : She can win.

GAVIN SMITH
Numbers 4 and 8 - JUST CALL ME ANGEL & ASHDOWN : Just call me Angel has a place chance. Ashdown will enjoy track and trip.

RACE 5 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
4 / 1 / 2 / 5

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 1 and 3 - CARLITA & FAIRYINTHEMIST : Carlita tries 1400m again, she is better than her last. Fairyinthemist may be better on Poly.

GAVIN SMITH
Numbers 2 and 6 - KLEVER KATHY & GREEN SEA : Klever Kathy posted a good win last time out, she enjoys track and trip. Green Sea is coming back from a break but she could place.

RACE 6 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
5 / 3 / 4 / 8

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 2, 3 and 4 - SEATTLE FLAME, KIFTSGATE & ZEVENASTIC : Seattle Flame has a big weight to carry and has just gone off the boil of recent, hoping for better from him. Kiftsgate enjoys track and trip. Zevenastic is always honest and never without a chance at a cheque.

GRANT PADDOCK
Number 5 - SACRED ORATION : He ran a very good race last time out in our top division. He has his third run after the break, should be cherry ripe and is a big runner.

RACE 7 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
1 / 2 / 5 / 7

GRANT PADDOCK
Number 1 - COUNTRY ROCK : He ran a great race on local and Poly debut last time out and really flew late. Another good run is expected, but the second run after the lay off is a concern.

TARA LAING
Numbers 5 and 12 - TWICE A POET & ADRIANO’S TRIUMPH : Twice a Poet must have a chance, he didn’t seem to enjoy the Poly last time out and back on grass we are expecting a better run. Adriano’s Triumph has his first run for the yard, it will be a learning curve, but he is working well so we are hoping he runs a good race.

RACE 8 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
5 / 6 / 13 / 10

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 3, 4, 5 and 8 - AMAJORY, TSESSEBE, STOPTHINKINGOFME & MEGA SCENE : Amajory could still need this. Tsessebe has her first run for the yard and could also need it. Stopthinkingofme ran a good race against stronger last time out, she has a chance here. Mega Scene must improve.

DUNCAN MCKENZIE
Numbers 6 and 13 - HORSE HAIZI & GLENNIE : Horse Haizi is so consistent and will run well again. Glennie could need this off a break, but she is looking really good.

Nothing complicated but I strongly like:

R2: BUSHIRI (going over the right distance)
R5: MARCH MUSIC (weighted to win)
