Tellytrack trainer Comments

RACE 1 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
4 / 7 / 5 / 6

GAVIN SMITH
Numbers 1 and 5 - COUNTESS CANTABRIA & FRENCH NOBILITY : Countess Cantabria has her peak run after the break and improvement is expected. French Nobility enjoys track and trip.

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 3 and 4 - ANGKOR & PIAZZA DEL CAMPO : Angkor has her first run. Piazza del Campo should be right there if repeating her last.

RACE 2 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
5 / 2 / 1 / 4

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 1 and 8 - LIMESTONE MASS & WHAT ELSE : Limestone Mass has a place chance here even though running over a trip short of his best, he is working well. What else can improve.

GAVIN SMITH
Numbers 2 and 7 - SAMURAI DRAGON & TAZZMAN : Samurai Dragon is always thereabouts. Tazzman has his first run and will be green and need the experience.

RACE 3 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
1 / 5 / 3 / 7

GAVIN SMITH
Numbers 1 and 2 - AMAZON KING & PRINCE OF ORANGE : Amazon King posted a good win last time out and can follow up. Prince of Orange is knocking and will be thereabouts.

SHARON KOTZEN
Number 5 - COUNTING STARS : He may be held in this division at the weights, but he is very honest and always gives of his best.

RACE 4 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
1 / 4 / 7 / 9

ALAN GREEFF
Number 1 - JIKA : He has a winning chance.

GAVIN SMITH
Number 4 - POMACEOUS : He will prefer being back to this, his favoured trip.

RACE 5 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
2 / 3 / 5 / 1

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 2, 3, 4 and 7 - ZANZIBAR BEAT, AL’S BELLS, BUTTERFLY SPIRIT & POPINJAY : Zanzibar Beat is always competitive. Al’s Bells ran a great last race and can repeat. Butterfly Spirit has excuses for her last and can get involved here. Hoping for better from Popinjay.

GRANT PADDOCK
Number 5 - JOSIE : She ran well in her first out the maidens last time out and on the work she is showing back home does have a winning chance.

RACE 6 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
8 / 7 / 3 / 2

DUNCAN MCKENZIE
Numbers 3, 6 and 7 - BARBARELLA NIGHTS, PERFECT PEACE & MAN OF FIRE : Barbarella Nights is well, he ran a good race last time out, but bear in mind it is his second run after the lay off. Perfect Peace improved last time out with the blinkers. Man of Fire ran a cracking race last time out, he’ll be finishing well again here and can be competitive.

GAVIN SMITH
Number 8 - CASA DE VAR : She takes on the boys, but races off consistent form and is in with a shout.

RACE 7 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
6 / 2 / 3 / 5

GRANT PADDOCK
Numbers 1, 6 and 9 - AMERICAN CAPTAIN, REBEL BARON & STRONG ‘N BRAVE : American Captain is better than his last and has an each way chance. Rebel Baron has found form, is working well and also has an each way shout. Strong ‘n Brave has his first local run and will need it.

SHARON KOTZEN
Number 3 - THE GOON SHOW : He is capable of more than what he produced in his last, so bumping an open field better is expected from him.

RACE 8 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
6 / 1 / 7 / 4

SHARON KOTZEN
Number 1 - VALENTINE’S GIRL : She bumps a competitive field but is very honest, in good form and in with a shout.

ALAN GREEFF
Numbers 6 and 8 - STUDIO BLUES & BERTINA : Studio Blues has done nothing wrong on the Poly and tries further which is expected to suit. Bertina can hopefully do better.

If you waited to just before the off you could have got 100-1 with the drift on Piazza Del Campo.
But doesn't matter now.
