When i posted i had now seen or heard of the De Villiers incident. I was up at a place called Oban in the North West of Scotland for the day and the radio reception in the motor was poor. Only saw the incident on TV highlights when I got in. Poor call by De Villiers.

Mori...both yours and Cats' comment regarding AB's action makes a presumption that AB was cheating. Can you be absolutely sure that in that split second action he did not think he caught it?
There are many instances in the game where players individual and collectively can be accused of attempted cheating but never highlighted. The sooner referrals are legitimised thhe better.

No not saying that De Villiers cheated..but surely one of the 5 other fielders around him at the time MUST have seen the ball roll along the deck?

How can you be sure and how is this different to mass appealing for lbw's when not even close to action.

agreed with your opinion on LBW appeals. Today players are earning vast sums of money..but only if they are actually playing thus they will do anything to remain in the starting line up. England players not only are on a good yearly contract bt they also get 6k a match plus a nice bonus for winning.

What happened to the Boks yesterday in Perth? Maybe they had already played their match of the tour last week against the ABs. On reflection SA did not do enough to merit a draw let alone a win. Good match which I am looking forward to in two weeks SA v Argentina. If the Argentinians field their best team it should be a cracker of a match.
