Comment of the week Bob!
With all the rains will the poly be on the quick right in with both horse and jockey's style in the first?

Tempted to do a double Awayinthewoods and Savea but I have a nagging feeling about Genereight
Also cannot trust Muzi. He burnt a hole in my pocket yesterday.
Waiting for Mark Khan to pilot some of Howells runners

My strong treble for today:
R2: SAVEA (was unlucky last time)
R5: THE SULTANS BAZAAR (was impressed with this horse. Still more to come)
R8: SIGISMUND (going over right distance and is rated by the stable

Trainer comments
Race 1
Paul Gadsby
No 9 Talesa - Will need this run
Wayne Badenhorst
No 7 I'm Free - Is a nice filly. She was fractious at the start last
time but if all
goes well for her she should run a good race.
Doug Campbell
No 8 Ruby Slippers - Is looking for more ground. She is improving and should
be included in trifectas and quartets.
Alistair Gordon
No 10 Torbenite - Is drawn a bit wide but has run two decent barrier trials
and I am expecting a good run from her.
Race 2
Doug Campbell
No 2 Fire the Rocket - Just needed his last run. Although he is getting on
he should be a big runner in this field.
Duncan Howells
No 7 Edge of the Sun - Is consistent and should be in the first 4
Race 3
Paul Gadsby
No 5 Sheiks's Storm - Has an each way chance
Doug Campbell
No 10 Bridal Veil - Has been working well and i am hoping for an improved run
Duncan Howells
No 4 Girl in Gold - Consistent filly, should be included in quartets
No 7 Queen's Plain - Was unlucky last time out and should go close here.
Race 4
Doug Campbell
No 10 Prince Of Promise - Was caught out wide last time and the run is
best ignored. He is trying further and we are hoping for improvemnet.
No 7 Vallanaut - Is working well at home and we are hoping for another good run
Mark Dixon
No 3 Two Stroke - Has an each way chance
Race 5
Paul Gadsby
No 1 Gunner - Has a big weight to carry, however he is unbeaten since
being fitted with blinkers and we are hoping for another big run.
Mark Dixon
No 9 Master Sam - Possibly a bit outclassed in this company
Duncan Howells
No 2 Baltic Amber - Seems better suited to the turf but should be included
in quartets.
Race 6
Duncan Howells
No 10 Mirwa - Has been disappointing, hoping to see some improvement
No 1 Miziara - Trying blinkers, hoping for improvement
Race 7
Wayne Badenhorst
No 11 Biker Babe - Has recently rejoined the stable. She is working well
and i am hoping for improvement.
Duncan Howells
No 2 Silver Raisin - Has decent post maiden form and with some luck in
running can go close here
Race 8
Alistair Gordon
No 4 Sigismund - Had a nice sprint last time and has come on with the run.
I'm expecting a good run.
No 10 Soonyou'llknow - Had a fair barrier trial and first run on the
turf and he
should be included in quartets.
