Im very sure because goose pled guilty that there is a very reasonable explanation

I notice Paul Peter also got two fines... I wonder how he will escape the huge suspended fine he has?

.....on a positive note the Goose's infraction is a simple medication that has been discussed on this site as several trainers have and do use this medication.....it is for indigestion.....on a negative note I have nothing to say about the other trainer mentioned here.....just wonder which other medications has not as yet been used....:oops:

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at its offices in Turffontein on 28 September 2018, Trainer Mr Paul Peter was charged with contraventions of Rule 73.2.4.

This arose in that he was the trainer of the horses:-

– AFROSTAR which ran in and won the 4th race at Turffontein on 8 July 2018;

– HUNGRY HEART which ran in and was unplaced in the 9th race at Turffontein on 21 July 2018; and

– SEA DANCE which ran in and was placed second in the 1st race at the Vaal on 26 July 2018

after which urine specimens taken from the horses disclosed upon analysis the presence of Flumethasone a prohibited substance in terms of the Rules of the National Horseracing Authority.

Mr Peter pleaded guilty to the charges and was found guilty.

After hearing evidence as to an appropriate penalty, the Inquiry Board imposed a fine of R80.000.

Both trainers pled guilty to these latest positives.
Tells me that both were simply a medication schedule issue?
