lets blow smoke

SA racing sure knows how to blow smoke.....
"Top bloodstock agent John Freeman brokered the deal but would only reveal the buyer is a Chinese company based in Australia, and who own two stud farms there.
A Singapore based agent was also involved as an intermediary in putting together the complicated, multinational agreement. "
Please NOTE that the SA based bloodstock agent is TOP
But the oke from Singapore is only involved but is also nameless and clearly not TOP.

.....should Surcharge be as good as some recon.....this could open the door to China for SA exports.....Yu Long Investments in Australia fledgling breeding programme is to be the nursery for horses destined to China where Mr Zhang already owns a race course and has held China's very 1st thoroughbred auction.....

Thoroughbred horse imports into China have boomed, more than doubling to 1,929 between 2008 and 2014, before slipping back to 1,648 last year.
“A few days ago I flew 76 horses into Beijing on a charter flight,” says Zhang Yuesheng, the billionaire owner of Chinese conglomerate Yulong Investment Group.
Mr Yuesheng says he has invested about A$20m in his Australian bloodstock interests, which include a stud farm in Victoria.
“I got interested in the bloodstock industry around 2008 and thought it would make a good long-term investment in China,” he says.

.....also very positive that they had a Yulong company man here to do their own bidding......wonder who actually assisted in their selections.....as they got a fair deal on their purchases.....next time some clever sods are going to run them up......
