Regarding London Guest. The new rule for an objection which I know is not approved by many stipes is quite clear i.e "the board must be satisfied that but for the interferance the horse which suffered would have finished in front of the horse which caused the interferance"
If L G had won a head or neck he probably would had lost the race.
This does not mean that the jockey is in the clear He did not take all possible
care to not cause the problem. As such he gets the penalty.
Happens all the time.
