United fans always showed appreciation to football's greats. I remember the Brazilian Ronaldo getting a standing ovation after scoring a hatrick against us.

Having said that, Wengers contribution to the standard of football in the EPL is immeasurable. So he deserved the respect and appreciation shown today.
