Hi All,
Many thanks for your kind comments and best wishes.
I thought you might like to know what happened post race :
Firstly - my trainer was not at the course due to other obligations and had sent a 'stand in'. So when the objection was lodged I found myself in the boardroom with my racing partner Sharon to attend the hearing. I was not aware that we would be asked for comment! This was a first for me.
Most of you have probably seen both the side on and head on views of the race so I won't comment on them as I am sure you have your own personal views and opinions.
The only statement I made at the hearing was to question the opposing jockey's claim that he was 'cruising' at the time of the interference and would have won but for it. I made the comment : I wouldn't describe a horse under the stick as 'cruising'..........or words to that effect.
Happily for us the objection was over ruled and it was a memorable end to a special day.
Many thanks for your kind comments and best wishes.

Many Congratulations; cruising my %&*#; he was whipping away trying to get to Zanadu, which if they had gone gone another 500m, he would not have done. Thank You for the confidence.
