Race 1: Beautiful Beat was clueless on debut at Durbanville and we expect a much improved effort today. Of the raced runners, Santa Clara and Celestial Storm look the best.
Race 2: Shadowing the best of the raced runners, but some well bred first timers headed by Captain of Tortuga.
Race 3: Light as a Feather very disappointing at her second start- hoping for a much better run today. East Lynne and Hammies Fan have the form, but respect for the lightly raced and Over You.
Race 4: Tarsus has been priced up as an odds on favourite and he may be good enough to be the first 2yo to win in open company this season, but too short priced for me. China Wolf gets a great chance to shed his maiden and is much better value at 6/1. Pumeza clearly has issues, but if regaining best form would win.
Race 5: Very open handicap.
Race 6: Star of London returns from a long rest following an injury in running. She is a classy filly but will need this run and needs further. Golden Wine was very disappointing her last two starts. However is working well enough at home but may need to go to a weaker centre. Namibia regained form last time and is selected to follow up here. Dangers are Miss Smarty Pants and Omega Force.
Race 7: Another very tricky race. The value ew is with Ladysmith at 16/1
Race 8: If you survive this far in the pick 6 you would want the field!

Race 3: Over You looks the right one imo , stable has been letting them learn the ropes at the durbanville circuit and this should love the longer Kenilworth straight , worth a nibble at 4/1
