I can't have Billy Silver at around 1/1. He might very well win but he is drawn wide over 1000m which might be a touch sharp. There are some hard knocking horses with good Poly form. I have gone wide here hoping to beat Billy Silver.

My EW bet of the day is in Race 5, Moon Shadow has yet to taste defeat on the Poly. Last time he finished well to win with the blinkers refitted. He is drawn in pole position so will hopefully be in 3rd or 4th on the rail having the run of the race. The 1200 shouldn't be an issue and looks a nice value bet at around 17/2.

Always tough when they change surface so be careful.

Piaget Prince a nice place bet in Race 3.

Best bet on the card today is a place bet on L'Orfeo in the 4th. Last time out from a deep draw ran 0,5L behind Laat Lammertjie who is the 9/10 favorite. That was her first run on the Poly and seemed to enjoy the surface. She is drawn better today coming into draw 6 with the scratchings. She has also beaten Adorned By Beauty who is the second favorite. There is 1/1 on offer for a first 4. She looks great value at this price and I will be having my maximum place bet on her.
