Anton Marcus - Good Average of Performance per Rac

Hi guys...I just noticed that Marcus has won 12 of his last 30 runs....And has only finished out of the places on 8 occasions.

A 40% win rate is right up there with the best...And what's more amazing is that he hasn't had the Mayfair Power behind him with all the issues on that front.

I see that Delpech has also got a great average, of 9 wins and many places from the last 30 runs.

I know they are on favourites almost all of the time....but that is still some achievement. When 1 looks at the master Strydom that hasn't had 1 winner in his last 30. I know his luck will change...but it's good food for thought..

Other jockeys to follow is Marco van Rensburg who wins at any price....And if the money is down then it's home and hosed. Gavin Lerena and Lyle Hewitson.

Just something to think about over and beyound the form of the horse.

Have you checked Aldo Domeyer, Grant van Niekerk and Richard Fourie?

in KZN Marcus and Delpech ride the Ferrari' and everyone else get to ride the VW Beetles

No I haven't.....I was just looking at the Durban and Gauteng based jockeys... as at least between them there is 3 meetings per week.

Now that Cape racing is once per week will only focus on those jockeys on the weekend....but I can imagine those jockeys u mentioned are at great averages.

If there was a prize for the best jockeys agent of all time anton marcus would win it by a country mile

The cape looks the hardest place to ride winners , 5 or 6 guys have it rapped up and only 9 have over 10 winners
