Trying a double again this week :-

R5) Sunshine Silk X (R7) Chepardo

Sunshine Silk, drawn relatively wide, so hoping the plan is to get across from the jump and race handy. The blinkers and drop back to 1600m could be do the trick, or so I'm hoping.

R7 looks an intriguing contest, as a few have competed against each other in their last run or two. The weight increases look much the same as last time they all met, just feel if Chepardo repeats his last effort, he could run them down. The favourite, Secret Captain, caused Chepardo to be carried out, or he may have finished slightly closer, just my opinion. Was finishing like a freight train.

R 4 # 4 DANCING REBEL maiden after 52 runs....earnings R 269,000 :sick: :sick: STILL A MAIDEN ....won't leave this one out my P6

Race 1: Power Of Place back to sprinting, blinkers on , some early market support , I'm gonna be with this one to get some exotic money for later :woohoo:

Race 4: Rich Harvest my value for the day , very good trainer with a limited strong imo , good draw, distance will suit , muzi on top , e/way for me :woohoo:

Power of Place for me. Snapped up a nice early price on this one so here's hoping.

Van vuuren runners like Delphine, Shakespeare peppermint/Selfie may be some e/w value in what are tricky races.

Rose water I also fancy somewhat today.

Turffontein preview only starts in a few minutes ....

For me, I think Delphine in the 4th is a nice each-way at the price - has to beat Ghost Town and Liberado; Rose Water in the 6th - can't be too confident, as she has only managed 1 win in 33 tries - however that win was over this trip (and she has also run 3rd in her only other attempt) - must be included in everything imo off this rating; I like Stay With Me in the 7th - Striker 'stays' with him and he gets blinkers and a return to his best form last year will make him hard to beat imo.

Airtaxi - how shall I put it - will definitely improve next time ....
