A card on which 6 handicaps make up the P6 - so despite smallish fields in the first few legs, I think a big div (if not a carry-over) is on the cards again ....
R2: The Spies stable should have a line - watch the betting on Miss Khalifa closer to race time - if that one is not really fancied, it probably lies between Brave Zndaya and Melarado - but who knows - a first timer could come up on everyone
R3: Looks a tough maiden - on USO the Azzie yard did not want to split Finding Troy, Money Matters and Manhattan Cocktail - for me though MM (who seems to finding some support at double figure odds) does not have the form, so I'm passing that one by; Hero's Honour and Greto both try 1600, so hard to say if they will get the trip - HH out of a Galileo mare probably looking for the trip though - then neither Tommy the Builder nor Absolute Gem can be ignored on current form - not unlikely for the PA to start with a bit of a jolt
R4: Quite a few in with chances in a smallish field; I think Fareeq will improve (needed his last start and had a wide draw) and turn the tables on Kings Archer; Chepardo does seem held at the weights, but chances are that he will be even better over 1600, so not to be ignored; Arctica also not out of it and Shukamisa (although imo preferring 1400) can't be ignored on form either
R5: Alshibaa probably a worthy favorite, but needs to give a lot of weight to a runner like O Lucky Man, who is weighted to give the favorite a fight; betting suggests that OLM may need the run, but I have given up trying to predict how runners from this stable will go, so an inclusion for me; Full of Attitude very disappointing and hard to know what has happened as he ran 3 lengths behind Alshibaa in his 2nd start, so on that form also look well weighted here - then we have Yakeen, who is hard to judge having only his 3rd start - due to very tough races coming up later, one will probably have to take a stand in the P6
R6: FM 58 handicap - over 3200 to boot - should really say it all; very hard to predict - Arte does seem to hold Just a Jet, but that was over 2400 - a full 800m shorter than the trip today - so anything possible; Cranberry Crush looks well in on the form behind Subtle Force and if she stays the trip must have as much chance as any; interesting that Hewitson deserts A P Chanel to ride Arte - so Mr Munger must be peeved and will probably do his level best to finish in front of Arte; it will boil down to which one stays best - and only the race will show
R7: Competitive again; imo Splendid Garden at best over this 1160 and has now come down to a competitive mark - holds Mujallad on their last meeting behind Alfolk and good value imo; nothing between Vicomte and Boatswain, B has at least won over this track and trip, while V may be better over 1000
looking past these there also seems to be very little between Golden Man and Cumberland - what's that sating in the TT studio 'if the budget allows' ...
R8: Not getting any easier; Fidelio has taken a tumble in the ratings, found lots of betting support last time and looks good value imo; Dragoon has won 3 times this track and trip, so a definite inclusion for me, while stable mate Lauren of Rochelle always finds a strong finish - needs some luck in running, but Striker could make the luck needed; The Tin Man imo definitely beatable at the weights; interesting roughie could be King of Mani; refused to jump in his last two starts before a break, but is much better off with his stable mate Rambo on their last meeting in July last year - and Rambo does not seem totally out of it on current form
R9: Toughest race on the card; two runners at double figures that I am including are Gaisce Gold and Copper Pot; GG has pole position, is a winner this track and trip and holds his stable mate Sabre Dance on their meeting behind Rambo in Sep last year; not sure what the problem is with CP, but has seemingly lost the plot completely after running in front of Timeofthevikings behind Refuge in Dec - has come down another 11 points since and also gets a 1.5 kg allowance - so a return to that form would make him competitive here; favorite Flexible Fugitive has some fair maiden form so has to be included in all bets
Enjoy

The Spies first timer in race 1 will have to be very good to beat piece of gold...it showed good pace on debut and ran 2nd to miss boomerang which came out and won twice...now with 2nd run the horse will be better and i make it very hard to beat...it will drift out in my opinion and still win..but respect for first timer
