Shaw has the X factor. He made it fun to watch TT. Now, it's mostly torturous to watch...

Who do you think was responsible for non sponsorship of Saturday’s feature races in Cape Town ?

Cape Feature Loses Longstanding Sponsor
Cape racing's 'worst kept secret'?

The loss of a staunch sponsor has emerged with the announcement of the final field for the R400 000 Gr2 Western Cape Fillies Championship today.
Equus Champion Lady In Black lines up at her first Cape start next Saturday
Sponsored for seven years by leading equine transporter Choice Carriers, the high quality 1400m event has again attracted a bumper entry headed by visiting Equus champion Lady In Black. The daughter of Dynasty has drawn wide as she takes on fellow undefeated local, Magical Wonderland.

The loss of a longstanding sponsor in tough economic times does not reflect favourably on the management of resources.

The value of the continuity aspect is also important as races chop and change identity with regularity these days, as sponsors come and go.

There was no response on an emailed request to Phumelela for a reaction and clarity on the sponsorship.

OTA - Perhaps River J should contact Phum. or Peter Choice and inquire why.

Sounds like an insider fishing .

Strange question to ask on this platform and I wont be entertaining the question.

When the topic " RACING- IT'S A RUSH OF NEPOTISM "
- River J posted " Flowers please name and shame tender and contracts awarded"

It would be a sham if I didnt admit to knowing that a NEW carrier has been appointed by RiverJ poster boy Larry.

In my personal capacity Mike Hughes also known as Over the Air please make sure you and your cronies have all the facts before you post cryptic messages trying to show how you in the know.. your insinuations from your inside sources are misleading and cause this site to be frowned upon.. You always seem to hijack any thread with your personal attacks and one sided info.

Len what can you tell us about new rigs being built for the WC contract? What amuses me is the defending of something that has to become very public knowledge in a very short space of time.

As for the cryptic message about who frowns upon this site, well why don't you list who these people are that are frowning?

Not defending anything .. your connections told you so you breaking the news once again before any announcement for public knowledge with your insinuations and 1 sided version from again your insider cronies who don't have the balls to post so use Mike Hughes as their mouthpiece.

Len you most clearly are defending something. I believe what I am referring to has been labelled "the best kept secret in Cape racing" by that trouble making woman at the SP, that one who exposes on a regular basis. Has she ever been incorrect?

I get it you want to protect the inner circle.
