Race 6 - Billy Silver 4/1, Dutch Phillip 12/1
Billy Silver has been talked about a lot since day 1 and he's done whats expected of him so far. He has beat nothing worth mentioning thus far and we will see if he's good enough tomorrow. He should get the trip, though he is quite speedy - winter course so the short straight will suit him. AD has had nothing but praise for him so we will see how he goes.
Dutch Phillp oozes class and he's really crying out for this sort of trip IMO. I thought his comeback run was very good - watch it and you'll see Aldo couldn't get a gap for a while then when he switched out, he really picked up nicely. Obviously not well-weighted but the good ones always tend to rise above the odds.
Race 7 - Magical Wonderland 18/10
I've always rated her but I did not expect that she'd win in the manner that she did LTO. Now on equal weights, she has all of her rivals in that race cold here. But this is a strong field and surely the fillies guineas winner is in here. I expect Lady in Black to be her biggest threat albeit with 2kgs more and a wide draw. Snaith has some lovely fillies in here and looks like Snowdance is the pick who I did expect a little more from LTO.
But if Magical Wonderland is good enough, she needs to win this. Good draw, a lot in her favour. Aldo's won this race before - Stable is in cracking form and she should make them run.

EYES WIDE OPEN must be some sort of a bargain at 4/1 in a weak 6-horse field.

Race 1: Gimme Katrina fair debut behind a smart sort. Should win this. Path to Fame and Secret Name the chasers.
Race 2: Bikini Model has been improving each run and will enjoy the 1600m. Unfortunately has got a very wide draw, so we need some luck to make the frame. Dynasty's Blossom will win if not needing the run too much. Ingabangabonga improved nicely second start and could challenge. Quite a few likely improvers with just a run or two under the belt.
Race 3: Milton should ensure a decent pace even though a tiny field. Table Bay the best of the older horses, although is 2 kg worse off with Copper Force for only 3 lengths last time, and CF will prefer the extra trip. Eyes Wide Open is almost certainly better than his rating and was given a soft gallop last time over a course and trip that was much too sharp. Is 2kg better off than WFA with Table Bay, and I expect him to go close even though this is a stepping stone towards the Guineas.
Race 4: I think that this is much more open than the betting suggests and I will oppose Via Sacra at 14/10.
Race 5: The improving 3yos Vabonne and Forest Prince take on some hard knocking older horses here, but may have the edge with normal improvement.
Race 6: Rockin Russian would have had a decent chance in the fillies' feature and is slung in at the weights here. The colts will have to improve to beat her and I think she is excellent value at 6/1. Billy Silver, Cot Campbell, Speedpoint and Tap O Noth are the best in of the colts. The top class Dutch Philip has a very tough task at the weights.
Race 7: Magical Wonderland will be very hard to beat. The better fillies are generally drawn widest which makes this tricky. Lady in Black is top class but the extra 2kg and the wide draw are against her. She may need this run. Meryl and Desert Rhythm have also not run for a while but are classy.
We have Elusive Heart running. Not the best of draws but she is improving as she strengthens and I think she is in with a chance.
Race 8: Tricky end to the day, and I can't see any value in the favourite at 12/10.

If Rockin Russian handles the course and left hand turn she should go very close to winning
