The Cape Crawl

Article this am re the cape crawl and the intention to fine jockeys who slow the race
down and cause bunching and interference
This happens mainly at Kenilworth
To me there is a simple solution
Scrap the false rail
Currently jockeys can wait and they will always get a clear run in time
No rail and the will have to ride for a position earlier
One does not see a false rail in Australia and the pace is on

The crawl seems to disapear when the young jocks from JHB raid

Surely the long awaited introduction of sectional timing will give the stipes the correct facts to make correct calls regarding going to slowly ?

The jocks decide the pace and or to race three wide off the false rail without discussing with Stipe's so what would the Stipe's do anyway?

The crawl & sprint in CPT attracts less and less punters...... I wonder why?
