Can lightening strike twice, Magical Wonderland drifted like a barge, and after the fact we a lot wiser despite that being a progress plated race. I'm going to stick with the "rule"
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

So glad Marcus got beat . Kept GS in a pocket for most of the straight. I will go withome Gold Standard Queens Plate and Met Double. That was a great come back run.

Marcus kept on blocking Gold Standard's path! but I doubt he would have won anyway. Very happy with his run and he's my QP and Met horse for the year I think.

Funny story. I backed Our Mate Art in the Langerman as a 2yo when I thought he couldn't get beat and then Table Bay popped up to snatch it from him. Now today the roles reversed. Funny how these things come full circle :cheer:

The beauty of horse racing/betting on horses. We have all the answers after the fact.

I'm not too clued up on breeding, do you think she'll stay against the colts - admittedly when she hit the front, she was eased down before the line, but the connections are not afraid to step into the unknown.

Her dam has mostly produced sprinters like Magico but has thrown in Marchant. Her third dam has produced Gold Bowl winner Golden Peak which was a Grade 1 at the time and also multiple Grade 1 winner Record Edge who won the Schweppes Challenge over 1600m and the Premier Cup over 2000m.
