Change of stables

I noticed that quite a number of runners from Gareth Van Zyl owned by Brian Burnard have moved to Mark Dixon and Dennis Bosch. Any one know why?

Was it as much of a fall out or was it that Gareth didnt want to only train for 1 owner.
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

Hi There

The owner that tries to have a trainer train just for him does not live in South Africa, trainers have to train for more than one trainer as result of the number of race meetings we have in SA and the fact that owners here have smaller strings.

But there is more to this story than we all know and I personally think it better for Gareth Van Zyl that this happened and we will see his talent bloom now again.

The owner has in excess of 65 horses so I don't know how many a new trainer should start with?

Either way, good for both parties.

Tara Laing seems to be the exception to that rule....
