Many short priced favorites but which ones will win.
Riding shotgun in the first should win, Gavin can hopefully get the Alexander stable off to a good start. He's great the biggest danger for me on form and who knows about the first timer.
R2 First timer is the fav with Khan in the saddle, the one I fancy though is Kutamba, is a 1000 m specialist I feel, no more, no less, first timer being out of Judpot must be looking for further and thus over the minimum Kutamba the one for me.
R5 I've made a bit of money by brassing Llandudno and reluctantly may as well keep to what has worked. Like a panther worthy favorite but I feel a bit short. My fancy is the Alexander horse. Debut over 1200 and has since been gelded so if not needing the run, being out of Jay peg should appreciate the step up and for me was a bit of value around 8's, I see there's been a nibble into 6's some places.
R8 First timer from the Alec Laird stable is nicely bred. Being out of Silvano will be looking for further and usually the outside draws over the c/d is a plus. Hence arriving at Manitoba, was very surprised to get some 10's and 14/10 a top 4. Last two runs haven't been his runs and with hopefully a plum draw, massive value at the prices mentioned above. Less than half a length behind Surcharge and Zerodarkthirty is good enough for me not to mention the yard is in form.
Il be playing an e/w Yankee with these four.
All the best.

Race 1: Riding Shotgun hot favourite - based on short placed second to broadway trip. imo he didn't give broadway trip much work to do that day, I prefer the first timers here, and would rather go with Hyper Jet --- but wouldn't write off Go Green either. Of course RS must have shown something to be this price - I for one never found much fun in picking odds on hot shots, neither much profit in it either for that matter.
I far more prefer the gallant losing effort of the underdog, for the thrill -- much like Alleywhoopee yesterday.

Mutawaary has been gelded I see -
let's see how good Broadway Trip (I think he is way special - any horse that can quicken to win going away in the fast Highveld winter is worth following for the Classic season) is - Riding Shotgun to frank his form

This is such a terrible card, tends to push me in the direction of focusing only on uk racing.
