that the RA pulls the Racing Writer of the Year award from the Equus Awards while the voting panel of five consists of two racing writers and another who is involved in publishing. :whistle:

that two of the judges are senior handicappers of the NHRA who for purposes of integruty cannot gamble and work for anyone else but are allowed to be on this panel and be compensated for their work as judges.

that a person is called a judge yet they are a non voting judge. Why use this terminology without explaining it. If you are not a voting judge, you should not be called a judge unless of course you need a reason to be paid more money than you usually take home.

that last year certain ABC members showed that the Equus awards lacked integrity by posting some results before the announcements were made by the non voting judge.

Morning Jurgs may be mistaken and Bob may confirm, but i took photos and sent to bob as the event was taking place but not before the results were announced?
