I am looking at the condition of the turf at this track that undergoes regular racing and wondering how this compares to Greyville......
Sha Tin 807 races on turf over the season according to the commentator and that surface looks green and lush. Greyville could not have had that number in the last 5 years and it looks like a cabbage patch. Nairac hasn't got a clue

7 years 10 months ago....when are viewers going to learn that the on course and even studio presenters are not tipstersAJ Yorker wrote: These tipsters on course must be the worst I've seen. :woohoo:
.....they are there to present and describe/set the scene ....and enthuse people to participate in betting.... if one knows very little about what is going on....then stay away....blaming the presenter for sticking you away is not their fault.....it is on you.... :S

It is misleading...
Everyone backing against the favourite in last race in Sha Tin:
- Comes home under the hands.
The horse they tip and bank in quartets:
- Doesn't run a place.
If they are intended to give information that will result in the public losing their money then job done.
Doubt you'll entice the public to get involved that way.

.....dunno what you are talking about.....never listened to their tips....but the original fav drifted and ran unplaced....the fav at the off ran 3rd........what I have learned about HK racing is to wait as close to the off and follow the betting.....try float the fav at the off....they arrive more often than not....

Apologies, talking about the 2nd last of the day - Race 10.
Everyone tipping the 10 + 12 as if they were good things...
Not a mention for 7 = favourite + ridden by Moreira.
Both 10 + 12 ran in the bush.
Ivictory won under the hands.
It's a laugh...

....then again none of the other fancied horses placed behind the fav either.....happens from time to time and also very regularly with our local racing.....dont know the reason it happens elsewhere.... but when it happens here.... I tend to think nothing was trying to beat the oner and thus the poorer formed horses suddenly find the frame.....
