I see it is a Jockey's challenge today between Gauteng, KZN and the Western Cape. Made for a few interesting jockey selections

It certainly appears on paper as if KZN jocks will clean up the trophies.

I like the idea of drawing jocks for horses. Shows you who really tries every race.

Expect a few upsets today. Previous comments re favorites who can get beat are most valid!!

Dame Commander was slow and bumped on debut over shorter when never getting into it. The extra distance and experience should help today.

We climbed onto Mind Your Business in the first at decent odds of 7/1.
Cannot believe it is now 5/2. Hope it can deliver.
If it does then I play with their money today

Cool at Heart worth a small bet @ 6/1 in a very open field. been following him and he duly obliged LTO with blinkers. Not a flashy sort but likes to tough it out from the front.

Real Vision was also nominated for a feature on July Day. I've forgotten which one but may be of interest @ 25/1
