Race 7 - Epona 7/2, Girl on the Run 8/1

Drawing a line through Epona's last run. She's way better than that, as shown. I think she's well-weighted here. Marcus should get her over so I'm not worried about the draw, step up in trip is no concern. As long as she's fit and well, she should go very close in this company. Also if you look at Epona's form she has the weird knack of not winning two in a row - so hoping her 'form' continues.

Girl on the Run ran an excellent race behind the high class Polyphonic. I've been following her for a while so it would be rude not to have a saver on her. Should be ridden with a little bit more restraint than last time and she, too, can fight it out.

11 runs, 6 wins and 91% in the top 3. Don't like the raced runners too much so I'll take the trainer/jockey combo in the first

Very interested for Mr Winsome vs Helderberg Blue. If HB wins you can put a line through elusive Silva's betting world run, if Mr winsome wins then it all but confirms the betting world formline over the sledgehammer for me.

With regards to Mr Winsome v Helderberg Blue. It will be a good contest but on the prices, Helderberg Blue. Even though he hasn't won for ages, 11/10 vs 4/1. I'll have a small interest bet on him.

Garth Puller will have a line on First Crusade through their other horse Ryker, which won first time out beating FC by a length.

A long time since I have seen a 1/10 on shot here in SA. Horse Chestnut price.

I think Marcus fell off a 1/10 shot for Tony Millard at Germiston. An Argentinian bred horse, the name escapes, first leg of the P6, the late Terrence Kirschner (i think that was his surname) was the studio presenter - anyone recall this incident?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
