Early thoughts
The weather forecast is a tailwind and some much needed rain.
Race 1: Blow in the Box is the one to beat. Captain Ram and The Judicator are the dangers amongst the raced horses. Silver Blade could not win in 8 starts in PE so unlikely to be good enough but could earn a cheque.
Race 2: Varside has the form but plenty of first timers to consider.
Race 3: Queen of Alamo is a 2yo taking on older, but gets the vote over this minimum trip on the strength of her good second run.
Race 4: Hero Quest has disappointed when fancied but is bred for this trip and looks the right one in a weak field. Liquid Dynamite has fair form despite a poor last run.
Race 5: Sabina's Dynasty is narrowly preferred to Miss D'Arcy and Dark Sienna.
Race 6: Riverboat Queen won well last time and is selected to win again. Very open race.
Race 7: We have Shall be Free. He has done really well the past 6 months. The short run-in is not in his favor especially with a tailwind. We expect a good run but this is a competitive field. I Travel Light just has to reproduce his run in the Sales race behind William Longsword to win this. Star Chestnut and Brilliant Crimson are consistent. Newlands has been running in features.
Race 8: Our filly Sun at Midnight is working well and goes for a hat trick but has gone up 3kg in the ratings. Ahoy me Matey could win again after a good debut. Spending Spree is well in at the weights. São Paulo has solid Gauteng form and is also well weighted. Very open.
Race 9: Another tricky race. Nasty Harry and Gadget Man have scope for improvement, but many with chances.

Double :-
Shadow Warrior X Hero Quest
Shadow Warrior X Hero Quest
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bantam rode that out to, and over the line there. If he keeps on like this he can make it imo
