Cannot understand the discrepancy in price in the 2nd between Smackaroo and Twist of Silva. They both met on debut and Twist of Silva finished 6 lengths ahead. She then ran a fair 6th in her 2nd start in a field which included Dahlia Plate winner Joking, and Lawdy Miss Clawdy who had beaten Joking previously.
Smackaroo is around 3/1 and Twist of Silva 16/1 …. makes no sense.

Pinnacle Peak - This guy did not know much about racing on debut but his ability pulled him through to a really impressive win - will surely improve on that.
Colonel Bluff - half-siblings were sprinters and pretty talented - He has been going ground yet his best run was probably his debut over 1200m ... He is a 68 and would, therefore, have this field cold on handicap. He has been GELDED...and I think that will sort him out ...only concern is the 2 yr olds but I think he will be too strong for them.
Seattle Swing owes me a house but is dropping steadily in the ratings - He's 3kg better off with Western Wu on last meeting. WW does, however, concern me as it looked as though he was dropped into the race at the 200m last time however he has been raised to a 71 and he has never performed well off that mark.I will have a go at the 12.5/1 SS.
Lotus Elan has made a mockery of the MR system - Hewas rated 92 less than a year ago and has bottomed out at 50 - He was raised 4 pts for his last run and I do think he will win soon as he is consistently running less that 5 lengths behind - Penny gets up again and will know more about him. Include in all bets.
If you fancy anything strong over the next 2 days try to take dbls onto MILITARY AWARD who closes the Turffontein program Sunday ... This is my best bet of the weekend and if he wins you might call in sick Monday as the drink flows!!!
