If he does not have another start before the July he goes in a 102!!! He gets in automatically because of the Derby win If the rules have not changed and for me he is my winner

What weight will he likely carry in the July?

If my sums are correct Al Sahem and Heavenly Blue will carry 53 if Captain America runs and 53.5 if CA does not run - for me I don't think either of them are a gross 106 - but I have been wrong before

Spot on. I also am battling to find a 3 year old winner. I liked Black Arthur's come back run after being off the track for 5 months. At current ratings he will come into the race with 54 on his back and be carrying 1,5 kgs less than he did as a 3 year old, although the weights were higher last year due to Legal Eagles withdrawal after the weights were announced.

Al Sahem rated 106 now. Pagoda 101 and Heavenly Blue remains 106.

Got to agree ... as things stand, Black Arthur is the only one of the leading older contenders (bar It's My Turn who is set to carry 0.5 kgs less) that will come in carrying less than last year .... but then is a swing of 1.5 kgs enough to make up the 2.75 lengths on The Conglomerate ... not impossible taking into account that in theory the WFA improvement is also another 2 to 2.5 lengths

That makes Black Arthur a serious runner. A year older and carrying 1.5Kgs less.
