Will this horse run in the Daily news?
Has anyone seen it race?
I'd imagine it would have to make an appearance soon to qualify to run in the VDJ.
Does winning the Daily News carry a penalty?

Nice for the Tarry, MDK, Bass and Woodruff stables to have some quality opposition.

only asking because we could end up with no KZN runners if they limit the race to a max of 16.
Terence Millard won a few July's with Argentinian imports, Illustrador springs to mind.

Would liven up the race if it preps well.
At the moment the, field looks pretty blah, with the few of the more exciting horses likely to be in trouble with the weights, or not likely to be suited to the distance. Hoping one or 2 of the 3yos start impressing. At the moment the top few finishers last year look likely to be the main contenders again.

The big unknown is whether the same game will be played with Legal Eagle this year. Had he not been entered and withdrawn after the weights been set, then the result would have been different, and one of the 3yos would probably have won.
