The racing today has too many races with small fields. That old saying "the smaller the field, the bigger the upset" may ring true today. I hope the stipes watch todays racing carefully and that they call in trainers and jockeys when horses do not run to form or the ride is not the usual . Read between the lines and you will understand.

Looking at the fields today. It's not entirely cut and dry.

Race 3: Commander Bond. After Cheynes racing yesterday I'm not entirely confident and I make Savuti the one to beat.
Race6: We all know Tevez is a class package. But weight will tend to find him out today. As he seems to be a horse that comes full into the running late on his race day. I make the Stone Thrower a big danger at those weights and to teach Tevez a good galloping lesson. I can picture young Dillon throwing his hands in the air and then patting the horse after the winning line.
Race7: State Ballet. Jockey last won was 16 rides ago. Trainer/Jockey win strike 0% from 13 rides this season. Tread carefully on exotics. I make Diva Fever a big runner to the red hot favorite.

Hope this guide helps you when structuring your exotics

@The tipsters corner,The Stone Thrower,I think,is about 7.5kg's out at the weights with Tevez. You obviously think Tevez won't carry his 61.5 kg's.But on ratings The Stone Thrower should not get close to Tevez.

Race 1: VM very bullish about Victorious Captain. He is the one to beat, but Royal Marine has good form and Rommel should come on plenty from his good debut. There are a few first timers that could upset. Henry Tudor flopped in the sales race after a fair debut, and is another roughie to include in quartets.
Race 2: Blow in the Box is the one to beat at cramped odds. Main dangers are End of March, Phelan Lucky but there are a couple of others that could improve.
Race 3: An open race. Short list in order of preference: Time to Think, riverboat Queen, Le Claire, Junta
Race 4: Commander Bond the one to beat. Dangers are Kapteinspandieseile, Savuti, Border Control.
Race 5: Closely handicapped. Twilight Trip and Saint Marco are my preferred two, but a field leg for exotics.
Race 6: Tevez is well in at the weights if fit. Line Break and La Favourari the dangers. Heartland returns from a break and this is a prep run for further, but he is good enough to surprise running fresh.
Race 7: State ballet is consistent and saved my PA last time but very skinny price. Rebels Idol has run poorly last two but can win this. Diva Fever will be thereabouts.
Race 8: A full field for a change, and very open. Eric Sands has a strong hand with Excellent and Galla Placida.
