Marcus Jooste Website

Ruffian wrote on another thread,
It surprises me that someone like Marcus Jooste who strives to improve the game does not have a website with his runners comments.
He is not a punter and is the kind of man that would love to improve racing in any way.
While certainly not expected, it would be a massive gesture to push the industry towards transparency

Technically speaking, shouldn't it be Mayfair Speculators website? Pedantic, I know

Gentlemen, really? You expect Markus Jooste to have a website giving all interested parties information on his horses? Take a step back and get real, please. Markus Jooste heads up a massive business interest and I am sure that he is not even aware of what is running most days. He just has too much to keep track of imvho. You are targetting the wrong person here.
Now what should be done, and done easily, is an instruction should be given to his trainers TO BE TOTALLY TRANSPARENT ABOUT ALL HIS HORSES WHEN ASKED BY THE MEDIA. No website needed, no drama, no issues.
Seeing that he has a vested interest in Phumelela's performance, I would be very surprised should he have a problem doing this. His racing manager may not be happy with the arrangement but that in itself is another issue. Chris van Niekerk can instruct Tarry to do likewise and problem solved.

Both are great suggestions and either would be an improvement on what we have now.

I don't think the expectation is for him to manage the website

Would be a viable proposition if their Racing Manager wasn’t the biggest punter in the country …..

Well in that case I guess us the punter won't be getting any transparency any time soon.

With all the talk about bookies limiting bets etc, who lays him the bets...knowing the info that he is privy to?
