Really difficult card, so much so, not too confident of my selection, however with the apprentice allowance I think Ovar in the 6th can go close, or so I'm hoping.

Took the double with Racethegreenlight.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Birds Eye View race 3. I only asked if he was fit and well and was told his work has been very good. That's all I needed to know. Last run from a bad draw makes him very hard to beat amongst this lot.

Race 1: Zodiac Jack won well last time and should win this. Sir Frenchie disappointed on Met day but if reproducing his debut effort will go close. First timers unknown.
Race 2: Disapointingly small field, but still tricky. Shrewdy should come on from its debut.
Race 3: Birds Eye View has been consistent and gets a good opportunity to shed his maiden here. Pop the Question is the main danger. Blind Spot is improving and All Night Long to fill the quartet.
Race 4: Quite a few with chances. Miss Carrera my narrow pick.
Race 5: Very open. Red Ginger and Baroness Mary are my two picks.
Race 6: Another tricky handicap. Maybe Caballo Branco.
Race 7: ???

ZODIAC JACK…. .. I think he can go in again…
SHREWDY.. typical of the stable to give an easy introduction.. with that run banked the win is on… Nel is proving to be a top trainer and a stable that I rely on in the maidens and lower divisions.. He will find a big horse soon
POP THE QUESTION.. building up to a longer trip after a short rest … 4 of 9 starters have won from his penultimate start(2 directly)… runs on…
I make the 4th between LEAVES OF GRASS and MISS CARRERA … they will both be running on.
FERRERO ROCHA … out of her ground last time when slow away… ran on well… no news on a replacement Jock yet…. Might actually need to try further again but must not be left out. RED GINGER will be involved.
RUSTAR DHOW – finished less than 4 behind last after returning blowing…may be short of a run but I will include. QUEEN AT WAR… last too bad to be true… nothing reported … pacey and is a must for PA P6
Best for me is SHREWDY followed by POP THE QUESTION, dutch LEAVES OF GRASS and MISS CARRERA(or swinger) and places on QUEEN AT WAR

From Brett Crawford website:

Kenilworth 28th February 2017

Pop the Question – work is very good, winning chance

Designer Pot – needs to show more

Miss Carrera – doing well at home, should put in a competitive run

Baroness Mary – work is sharp, go close in this field
