Turffontein Buy-In Competition - 18 February

Right all, to say the donations is underwhelming would be an exaggeration... I cannot find a word in the dictionary which is 'less' so underwhelming it is.
Come on all.... at least if we get enough entrants here we can generate some money...and you have a chance to win some yourselves.
I was going to split the day between the two centers, excluding all maiden races.. but decided that we stick to regular to maximise entries...
Buy In - R150
R100 to the kitty, R50 to KDS
Only difference from usual rules is you have the option to specify wins only, places only per selection. No specific choice then the default is the old rules..R100 each way.

Great stuff looking forward to it. Just a suggestion what abou 2 different ones Cape as well. Same rules. Then add both scores together to get a 1st prize to the most points. i will donate R2k to 1st prize and match R 2000 to the charity. Was going to bid n the cup but will let Shrek take it rather and Dave needs the wine.

Hi Warren....thanks for generous donation and the suggestion. I am quoting Frodo here as justification for my decision . I was going to make it both local meetings but I was concerned the amount of work studying and selecting for so many races would put some potential entrants off.
I then considered Kenilworth only as we KNOW they will race....but the enthusiasm for Cape racing is questionable (perception?) .....
