"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Tuesday 10th June Workings..

Evening,

This evening completed and went as follows...

The 1st runner we wanted 3.0 and with being around 3.45 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'......

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.56 and with being around 3.15 on arrival and tumbling down to us and slightly beyond under good late support, we had a lay at 2.56 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result......

The 3rd runner we wanted 1.7 and with being around 1.91 on arrival and then dropping down to us, we had a lay at the rock bottom of the market and 1.7. The lay went and won, so the way it goes.

The 4th runner we wanted 1.8 and with being around 1.88 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave........

The 5th and final runner we wanted 2.8, but a non runner and 11.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.6. The price was around 2.98 on arrival and never came down to us at any stage, so we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'...........

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED............(2 from the 5 (40%) went and won, so not exactly easily, but we did all we could and got a small win)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) never got any play with the first runner being a no play race, so they'll return in the morning..

'Bank building' strategy/target players got some play, but only 4 runner builders. They had their 1st lay (the 2nd runner) at 2.56 max and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets.....They then had their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner) at 1.7, but a poor result see them give a little back...........That's where they ended the session and so a small win of 0.4 of a target...

Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.56 max. Result positive. Win £64

Total bank now £464

2nd lay £154 to win the remaining £36 @ 1.7. Result negative. Lose £25

Total bank now £439

That's where it ended.

Overall result. Win 0.4 of a target.

***************************************

5 runner builders never got any play due to the first runner being a no bet and not enough potential lays left..

***************************************

Traders had to concede a little on the 3rd runner at 1.7 max, but all others see them win or break level, so they walk away levels at worst..

That was that then! a little frustrating in places, but we did all we could and speak in the morning...

Afternoon,

The workings for this evening as follows...

6.30 Southwell. RATHMULEN (3.45)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.0 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to race prominently, or lead, so no surprise to see the same tactics applied for this evening*

6.45 Chester. ROBIN THE TIL (2.94)

Our price 15/8 (2.875) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.56 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced and very green, he has shown enough speed to suggest a very prominent display could be on the cards this evening - Also please note that more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

7.30 Southwell. OUR CHOICE (1.83)

Our price Evens (2.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.7 or under we'll go in for a lay.

8.00 Southwell. DELAYED APPROACH (1.95)

Our price 11/10 (2.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.8 or under we'll go in for a lay.

8.45 Chester. SINBAD THE SAILOR (3.2)

Our price 21/10 (3.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.8 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although he's shown he can race a few ways, it wouldn't be any surprise to see a prominent display this evening*

All the races priced up with non runners taken into account up until 15.44pm.

That's our work for this evening then. The minimal amount to work around for 5 runner players, so obviously no room at all for error early, and of course it looks a tough evening anyhow, so we'll need the prices to be kind. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon..
