I am not criticizing the youngster,and if you say you had no knowledge of the engagement of the rider then I'll have to believe you,but I simply think that you missed an opportunity here.The horse opened 7-1,a nice price to have a punt at.You obviously fancied it to kill,or else you would not have flown to Durban,so for the stable to engage a lightie having hi first ride is poor planning in my book.Anyway,we live and learn I guess.
