Nobody said they wanted it to happen. Obviously their IT people need looking at.

I tested systems 1000 times bigger than Hollywood and in those days knew what we were doing.... B)

I never complain, bur here is what is suspicious.

tried to take a bet on Jazz Bar, Greyville R7. First attempt the computer states "error" , then i try again, it says something to the effect that the horse has shortened, Accept - Decline, by the time one gets on, the horse is 3/1 from 4/1 in a space of 45 seconds.

It happens to often on big race days. Not only could one not get through on the internet, the 08000 call number was down most of the day. When this happened the first time, preventative measures had to be put in place. Try and get away with that in any other service industry - you will see you arse as the head honcho.

As a teenager and early punter, I used to work on the tote for quite a few years. After every meeting we would have our fair share of " dops " in the owners an trainers bar, after the days racing, listening to all the post mortems.

After todays appalling show All U AT HOLLYWOOD can celebrate with a flate coke, and make your way home early with your tails between your legs.

This shitty service we were dished up today is normally reserved for the TOTE operators, but U HOLLYWOOD firmly wear that shitty crown tonight. BE PROUD.

How much revenue have u lost today, and customers.

Went down on the tote on July day when a problem in Jhb. Does anyone really think that Hollywood did this on purpose or if they could have prevented it they wouldn't have? Like on July day it cost the operators a fortune. Can you imagine what this breakdown must have cost Hollywood? Dev does a great job. Things go wrong in any industry. No one can tell me it doesn't happen. Pity but not on done intentionally.

See your stable is sponsored by winningform thats part of hollywoodbets......hahahaha , wondered why you came out defending ...again

I will speak for anyone who IMHO is being unfairly treated whether it be Hollywood or anyone including animals that need help due to any reason and need a voice.

This thread is just too long to read it all... so if I am mising the point some where..okay. But yesterday already I wanted to do an open 'letter' to Hollywoodbets around this very issue. In my job I would get fired...it is predictable I.T. behaviour..the systems perform the same.. the 'load' on the systems can be predicted (big day, exaggerated number of transactions etc)... BUT NO PROVISION IS MADE FOR EXCEPTIONS ...like today.

Same old same old ...today is the first time in yeeonks that I used my Tabgold account...cos I knew this was going to happen

Did their system crash on an even bigger day than the Met meaning July day? An honest question as I can't remember not being able to get on that day?
