I also fancy two in that race - Last Girl Standing from Pippi Shortsock - both drawn ok - Queen's Jet the inside draw could be an issue, Modjadi I think better over 1000, Ladies Club imo better around the turn

All in all, I think the bookies are licking their lips to recoup those losses from the QP meeting - I like a big price double to close, Dragoon on to Neuf de Pape

MMM no one mentions JOEY PIPER , ive been awaiting its return , it won a nice maiden with a few behind it coming on , it looks like a galloping machine and could blow these away this son of Argonaut

Vaal today - Our work has been severely interrupted by rain. The going is a bit soft but drying due to slight breeze and some sun. However, let's hope that the rain clouds on the distant horizon stay just there and don't come this way ! Race 1 @ 12h55 CASA DA VAR - having raced recently, she is fit. She doesn't seem to finish off her races but the fields have been strong. She must have an eachway chance today. STREET LIFE - She works very nicely at home but not at her best due to work interruptions of last 10 days. I expect a good run from her in spite of that. Race 2 @ 13h30 - GOTULUVHER - very hot sort who sweats up and who will be green today. She has ability but may want a touch further. She has a small place chance. Race 6 @ 15h55 PIPPI SHORTSOCK - 2nd run from rest but still a big runner today. STARRY NIGHT - disappointed last week. We try again. Regards Louis
