Race 7 - Hurricane Shelley 33/10

Very impressed with her win last time. Rapidly improving and I fancy her to give A Time to Dream a run for her money. 6kgs less I'm opting for the younger filly. By no means a good thing but sure to go close I think.

Race 1: Opium put up a good debut, and even though Cheyne has opted for the ride on Varonella, could be decent ew value.
Race 2: Figure of Grey has been running against much stronger and looks the right one here.
Race 3: We have Chit Chat running. I'm not sure about the 1800m trip, but if she gets it, then she has an ew chance in an open race.
Race 4: The two Laing runners, Golden Tongue and Eastern Pearl should fight this out.
Race 5: Greeff runners Lord Windermere and Rogue Runner
Race 6: Fontenoy is inconsistent but well weighted here. Go long in the exotics.
Race 7: Snaith has a strong hand- A Time to Dream is the best of his, but not much above his other two. Hurrican Shelley appeals most of the local runners, with Peach Delight. Taffety Tart has been way below best recently, but can never be ignored.
Race 8: Fly like the Wind has good form. Include Duly Ordained- should be ready to show what he's capable of hvaing his 3rd local start
Race 9: Very tricky. Flying Fool has a bad draw and a battling jockey, but could go start to finish.

Race 3: Oyster Nut (9), One Love (6) and Chit Chat (8)
Race 4: Mambos in Town (7), Warren Place (2) and Eastern Pearl (10)
Race 5: Rogue Runner (4), Pont Du Gard (3) and Lady Willow (11)
Race 6: Baahir (11), Captain Nemo (9) and Stormy Ridge (3)
Race 7: A Time to Dream (2)
Race 8: Afrikaburn (1), King of Chaos (7) and Mercado (12)
Race 9: Storming Home (7), Frederic Fox (4) and Trouble Maker (8)

PA: 6-8-9/2-7-10/3-4-11/3-9-11/2/1-7-12/4-7-8 = R729 for a full unit

In General, Mambos in Town ran 6 lengths to King of Cloth and Querari Viking etc. A Time to Dream returning after a rest, but undefeated over course and will contest features in the next three months. Storming Home has been running from the car park in both his last starts but finishes well and is in the shake up, now from draw 2 may pull off a good upset at 14-1 and will have a swim lane to the finish.

Hi Guys,

Fairview Turf:

Best Bets

Race 2: Stanley's Last(7) 4-1 (She had a bad draw last time out and had to be slotted to the back and ran on nicely for 2nd, and to top it all still was baulked for a run at the 300m mark. She will love this extra and i make her a BIG BIG BIG RUNNER!!!!!)
Race 3: One Love(6) 28-10 (She has a good draw and will enjoy the turf today. Knocking on the door with her consistency and should win)
Race 8: Fly Like The Wind(5) 28-10 (2nd run after rest a concern but ran a cracker carrying 64.5kg last start. He ran behind Marinaresco who is running in the QUEENS PLATE on saturday. Lerena rides and i think he will win well in this weak field)

Value Bets

Race 1: Scribo(2) 6-1 (2 runs back he ran in a minor feature, other than that has good form. The one 1600m run might have been too far and reported blowing after race.)
Race 4: Warren Place(2) 5-1 (Looking for this distance, last run too short and still ran on late to nearly beat Golden Tongue. Improved with cheek pieces and has them on again, good value at 5-1 and should win)
Race 5: Captain Blackwater(7) 10-1 (Guys this is my best value bet of the week and he will win if he comes to track in the mood. Breathless Bertie & Pont Du Gard will be in the placings. He dropped his jockey last start when there was money for him. BIG BIG RUNNER!!!!!)
Race 6: Fontenoy(12) 14-1 (He beat Captain Nemo by 2.75 and he is now is a further 5kg in at the weights. He will love this 1000m and is expected to win again with low weight)
Race 9: Armorial(5) 10-1 (Last run best ignored, will be right there at the finish today, has dropped 2 points from highest rating to a level where he nearly beat In Full Regalia which won the other week. Dangers are Brave Vision(3), Rebel House(2) & Seymour(10)
