"Group" RESULTS - 'Sunday' 8th June Workings.

Afternoon,
This afternoon completed and went as follows..
The 1st runner we wanted 2.2 and with being around 2.6 on arrival and then an important non runner and 36% reduction, we now wanted a lay price of 1.77. The price dropped to that under under and so we had a lay at 1.77 max. The lay was beat after a close finish and so a good result.....
The 2nd runner we wanted 3.0, but a non runner and 13.9% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.72. The price was around 2.7 on arrival and shortening, so we had a lay at 2.7 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result........
The 3rd runner we wanted 3.2 and with being around 2.82 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 2.82 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result....
The 4th runner we wanted 3.5, but a non runner and 10% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 3.25. The price had drifted to around 3.35 on arrival and then dropped down to us and so we had a lay at 3.25. The price then went back the other way and out to our own price of 3.55 (was 3.8 before reductions) and so a chance for traders (builders hit and finished) to have a 'free' lay before the race. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result...
The 5th runner we wanted 1.7 and with being around 1.83 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'....
The 6th runner we wanted 2.8, but a non runner and 11.8% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.59. The price was a very well supported 2.06 on arrival and shortening (went odds) and so we had a lay at 2.06 max. The lay was beaten after a battle and so a good result......
The 7th and final runner we wanted 1.46, but a non runner and 10.5% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.42. The price had drifted to around 1.51 on arrival and then dropped back down to us and slightly beyond, so we had a lay at 1.42 max. The lay went and won a battle, so the way it goes. Only traders playing now and they easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it...
WELL PLAYED...
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) .......They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and hit on that runner..........They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 2nd runner and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner) and with not enough potential lays left to start another strategy/target they ended the session winning 2 targets...
'Bank building' strategy/target players started with a lay on the 1st runner at 1.77 max and a good result see them hit their targets....
Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £100 to win the £100 target @ 1.77 max. Result positive. Win £100
Total bank now £500
Overall result. Target hit.

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account up until 10.13am.
That's what we have to work on for this afternoon then. Favourite's flying in all over the place yesterday and so we'll hope that starts relenting soon, but we have enough to warrant going into battle today, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon..
