Race 1: Captain my Captain looks the best of the raced runners together with State Capture and Varside. Some well bred first timers make this tricky. I will be watching Dynajet with interest- he is bred for much further, although his half sister was a sprinter.
Race 2: African Night Sky should win this. Gregoria's Chant the danger.
Race 3: A weak field. Wicked Kiss ran well last time and is the one to beat. Moons a balloon will go close with the 4kg claim.
Race 4: Cossack Guard has the best form of the raced runners. Baffert should make plenty improvement and is selected to win. We have Elusive Freedom running- trying the shorter trip but he probably needs a weaker centre. Some nicely bred first timers and it would be no surprise if one of them were to win.

Hi Guys,
Kenilworth Today:
Best Bets
Race 1: Captain My Captain(1) 11-10 (Big Runner!!! Getting ready for the ready to run cup on Sun Met Day)
Race 3: Wicked Lass(1) 18-10 (Great race last run after impeded in the straight when ready to strike. Q Tibb is unknown quantity and Katie Dubois will improve)
Race 4: Kampala Campari(10) 8-10 (First timer but has been backed and look at breeding. Will Win)
Value Bets
Race 2: Boldly Respectable(1) 6-1 (Is better than last 2 runs, will fight it out with the favourite)
Race 5: Queen At War(
15-2 (Will have the beating of the favourite on their Ngaga formline. She is 1kg better off on a 1/2 length beating. Will go to the front, Start to finish)
Race 6: Let's Go Get It(3) 13-1 (Look at the Silvan Star run, will beat the 1 and go close to the 2. Ngaga has won two in a row so needs to be good to continue winning ways)
Race 7: Hammie's Game(5) 11-2 (Will beat Gyre on the 20 Aug run. 2.5kgs better off and still beat Gyre by 2.5 lengths. Jabu and Gyre are close contested which means i prefer Hammie's Game to win. BIG BIG BIG BIG RUNNER!!!!!!!!)

Race 5: We have Sun at Midnight here. She is holding her form well and hopefully can win this. The price is stupid in a relatively open fillies handicap. Pink Rock is on the upgrade and I'm amazed she isn't priced up favorite. There are plenty with chances.
Race 6: A very competitive race with some smart fillies. There is not much between my two runners , white Rose and Step Out, and hoping both will be in the shake up. Party Crasher is the stable elect. The filly to beat is Ngaga, and Seattle Gold is another smart filly to consider.
Race 7: A disappointingly small field - any of the fillies mentioned above would have been a penalty kick against this lot. Sadly, trainers continue to be too cautious about putting fillies in open races. Jabu is selected to win an open race.
Race 8: Again respect he first timers. Gypsy Beauty has fair form, as does Light Chaser and they should be in the shakeup. Seattle Oak could enjoy the 1000 and is selected to win.
