"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Saturday 7th June Workings..

Evening,

This evening completed and went as follows...

The 1st runner we wanted 2.5 and with getting a well supported 2.0 on arrival and slightly shorter, we had a lay at 2.0 max. The lay dead heated for 1st with a 66/1 rag, so could've been worse I suppose and money back!........

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.6 and with being around 1.73 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 1.6 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it...

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.0 and with being around 1.83 on arrival, we had a lay at around 1.83. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders again got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.....

The 4th runner we wanted 1.8 and with drifting to around 1.9 on arrival and not coming back down to us, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr! Early traders happy though.....

The 5th runner we wanted 2.9 and with being around 2.72 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.72. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.2 and above, so a chance of a 'free' lay for traders and builders. The lay/trade went and won, so yet another favourite goes in and the way it goes. Glad of the 'free' lay now though.....

The 6th and final runner we wanted 1.36 and with being around 1.53 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave........

WELL BATTLED................(5 from the 6 (83%) and so yet again ultra tough and all we could do was limit the damage)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Had to concede 2.5 targets......They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and ended up conceding 2.5 targets after their 4th lay (the 5th runner) went and won...

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.0 max and a dead heat see them get their money back.......They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) at 1.6, but a poor result see them go behind.........Then they had their 3rd lay (the 3rd runner) at 1.83, but another poor result see them give a bit more away.........They then had a 'free' lay that bough relief.............and that's where they ended it, so builders ended it conceding 1.1 targets....

Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

1st lay £100 to win the £100 target @ 2.0 max. Result Dead Heat. Win money back.

Total bank remains £400

2nd lay £133 to win the £100 target @ 1.6. Result negative. Lose £60

Total bank now £340

3rd lay £170 to recoup the £60 @ 1.83. Result negative. Lose £50

Total bank now £290

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

That's where it ended.

Overall result. Concede 1.1 targets.

Traders either won or broke level on all their trades, so they actually won a little bit which is a very good effort and well played with all those winners..

So, the 1st runner wins the dead heat and we all walk away happy! God this game can be tough....well battled guys..

Afternoon,

The workings for this evening's racing then, as follows..

5.40 Lingfield. WAIT FOR THE WILL (2.42)

Our price 9/5 (2.8) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.5 or under.

6.40 Lingfield. NAVAJO JOE (1.97)

Our price 4/5 (1.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.6 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go onj the early market for clues concerning this race*

6.50 Newcastle. SPRING TALE (2.14)

Our price 13/10 (2.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.0 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, she has shown she can race prominently and so no surprise to see those tactics this evening - Also please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early market for clues concerning this race*

7.10 Lingfield. STRAITJACKET (1.95)

Our price 11/10 (2.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.8 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early market for clues concerning this race*

7.40 Lingfield. WIBBADUNE (2.84)

Our price 11/5 (3.2) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.9 or under.

7.50 Newcastle. MOONQUAKE (1.48)

Our price 4/7 (1.57) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.36 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account up until 15.15pm.

That's what we have to work around for this evening then. Another tricky and testing session in store with that unexposed nature in force leaving us vulnerable to big drifters and gambles, but at the same time we have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon.
