GH and his bunch of bums must be ruing the day they sold KZN racing by selling Clairwood....... I wonder what the financials will look like for 2016

Here's my lunatic suggestion :

Move the July meeting to PE at Fairview. At the very least they have a decent grass track with a fair 800m run in. It might even allow for a field of 24.

They also have a synthetic surface; so beloved by the MR 66 brigade which constitutes most of the KZN trainers.

It will give many of the KZN trainers their first ever opportunity to travel!

Guarantee the KZN trainers 4 slots in the July field. ( That's about as many as they will need given the ability of their horses over the last 20+ years).

I gather KZN champion season ahould be abandoned now since the grass track won't be ready....year in and out there are excuses..wonder if the circus knows the diff between weeds and grass...GC is like parliament everyone will cover one another's back even if they wrong.How many years must the grass track take to get repaired or fixed. I think my 2 year old stands a better chance of trotting at my daughter's school ground than wait to race...what a bunch of tossers.KZN racing will never be the same.
