Re-fitting shoes on the poly is becoming a norm causing unnecessary delays .The authorities need to look into this .

Joe what u implying ridden by Delpech is he short on shoes at home so he takes them off on the way to the start?

Horses casting their shoes now happens frequently on all courses in SA.

the point is very simple

how many punters only listen to the audio commentary ?

every week its a delay, now imagine waiting those few minutes extra every single time ???

what's the point having a off time when they can't stick to it ?

the culprit is shoes need to done again

the UK races never have this problem when the race is delayed every meeting

noticed how many favs need to get their shoes done at the start ??

I've got zero time to waste calling in and then having to wait for them to start

every week greyville times get changed because of the delays

maybe the older generation is happy to wait

But the youth got zero time to waste

I was thinking the same think last night!!! The only other racing I watch is HK racing,and I can tell you now,if 1 horse loose a shoe at the start for an entire ,meeting than THAT is a lot!!! Have to agree with our 'stripes being world class' Also...why don't they release the horses from the gates while attending to a shoe??? Coz that alone takes 5mins.Horses start acting up from standing in the que for to long,and last night I was SWEARING from my pocket due to 2 of my fancies acting up due to standing for far too long in the pens. Piss poor standards in SA!

Heinrich I think when they refitting a shoe to a horse they don't leave the other horses in the pens and our stipes don't fit the shoes the farriers do
