I see there is 80 runners ( before draw scratchers ) and 37 of them from just 3 trainers!

Yikes

Will they be saying "Will need the run" "prep run for some bla bla race" or ARE they coming to race to earn.

Will be interested to see whether Fourie is declared fit to ride after Wednesday's fall, because he appears to be carded to ride the only horse with a decent winning chance on a very, very difficult card. After Wednesday's fiasco where they appeared to swop like for like, weight wise, certainly not ability wise. :(
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Lovely card. Very interested to see Lord Balmoral going around the turn and of course A New Dawn who looks an exciting sort.

Race 6 - Party Crasher 6/1 e/w

only on this one so far and mostly because of the price. saw All Is Secret put up on another thread that Kotzen really rates this one and she may be going for the Choice Carriers. Saw her on debut and she impressed me a lot. May not be at all wound up for this race but at 6/1 definitely worth a strike. will prefer the 7 furlongs and 8 however so I'll be happy with a place here

THE FAV IN RACES 2/3/4 CAN GET YOU SOME PROFITS AND I LIKE THE 1 IN RACE 1 TO ADD ON.
ADD THESE WITH TARRY HORSE RACE 1 AND THE TWO WOODIES HORSES THEN LETS FOR THE BEST.

Race 1 - VARONELLA
Race 8 - TREASURE TOOL

Also watch Anneline in race 7, I`ve been following this horse. I`ll never forget her first run in appalling conditions - I was lucky to get fixed winning odds at 20/1. Would be interesting to see how she goes with the jockey change

Race 2 and Race 7 very nice today.

Joey Ramsden's comments. Trying to understand why they put Bantam on Silver Captain who I've heard good things about. She will obviously be much better over a mile but she must be a massive runner here if Bantam gives her a half decent ride. I remember Don't Stop Dancing and Silver Captain took each other on in their first races and our Rock on Wood was sandwiched in-between for positions 1,2,3 and Dillon once again chose Silver Captain there.
Durbanville - 15 October 2016

BRITISH FAIRY:
Race 1 - He has a decent draw and we are hoping for more improvement.

A NEW DAWN:
Race 2 - A small field and think he will enjoy his first run back.

DANCER:
Race 2 - Scratched

AVIEMORE:
Race 2 - Scratched

THE WIDOW'S CLUB:
Race 4 - Nice filly. Lovely stride and might find Durbanville a bit tricky. If she handles the course, will run well.

CARDIFF CASTLE:
Race 6 - Has improved since his win. Will be interesting to see how he runs off his merit rating.

DON'T STOP DANCING:
Race 7 - Lovely filly but a little hot and needs to learn to settle. Competitive race.

SILVER CAPTAIN:
Race 7 - Cracking first run back and will be a big runner here.

ARCTIC GREEN:
Race 8 - Will be tough from that draw.

IRISH GREY:
Race 8 - Has more ability than she has shown on the track. Good draw and blinkers on. Hoping for a decent run.

Race 8 : Think Moon Princess can run a good race. Ran on nicely behind Cavalleria and Dawn Rising and I think with an extra furlong has an e/w chance.

PAUL REEVES:
Race 1 – DAYONAUT (2): Came in late but is a big strong sort and will be looking for further.

Race 1 – ALMS FOR SYRIA (6): A speedy sort, might need the run but I am expecting a nice run.

Race 1 – MR MAXIMUS (8 ): Will be in need of the run and looking for further.

GLEN KOTZEN:
Race 3 – CAIPOEIRA (2): An unraced four year old, a strong filly but will need the outing and further.

BRETT CRAWFORD:
Race 3 – MANTATISE GIRL (7): Will need the run.Horse Racing

Race 3 – MISS CARRERA (8 ): Will be scratched.

JUSTIN SNAITH:
Race 3 – ZINTHLE (9): Should need the run.

Race 4 – OUR VISION (8 ): Should need the run.

ERIC SANDS:
Race 4 – COUNTESS VAROVSKI (4): A nice filly but will get lost at Durbanville – she needs Kenilworth but I need to start her off racing now.

MARGOT STEYN:
Race 4 – EARTHFLIGHT (5): She is a nice type but will need the run and further.Horse Racing

JOEY RAMSDEN:
Race 4 – THE WIDOWS CLUB (10): Would have preferred racing this horse at Kenilworth. She is a bit of a handful. If we were at Kenilworth I would say she could place but as we are at Durbanville I am expecting a fourth, fifth place.
