Ok let's have a little go.

R1 "Browns Hill" on little known form - "Rare Distinction" on a 'Hunch'.
R2 Very Hard Race = Leave totally alone OR a small E/W on "Kidron Valley"?
R3 "Signet Ring" to win w/6th Jock tried? OR "Brides Dream" to Dance the aisle?
R4 "Master Khan" just! With "My Fair Friend" & "Solomon's Temple" BIG dangers.
R5 Anything can win this! = "Best News Ever"(66's) w/M. Khan & Headgear...lol?
R6 "Golden Tiffany" Looks like Strikers got the key to this one = a good bet.
R7 Very Hard race - "Ordinance" "Guarding Harry" "Glowing Review"???
R8 "Sandown Bay" the one to beat.

So I think a Double between "Golden Tiffany" & "Sandown Bay" will be my bet +
a little E/W Lucky 15 w/"Rare Distinction" & "Master Khan" added.

All the best guys, I'll wait to see Cuckoo's 'early prices' before I work out my stake - nite, nite.

Jim.

I am resorting to playing on the weekend only now as I have been neglecting my business :) First Sign of need gamblers anon :)

Anyway, I know nothing about sand form

Here are my thoughts on a few races I looked at before deciding to stick to weekend racing....be warned, I know nothing about sand.

R1: Too little form. Browns Hill best of those on sand.
R2: Salient and Chester boy impress, With Golden Sugar a roughie.
R3: Sofala - may be scratched, then look at Signet Ring From Everwood.
R4: Difficult race. Horses I fancy seem a bit out of shape....Techno Rave is the standard bearer. have to respect Quicksand and Jargon, along with quick Nick...leaning towards Jargon for this one.
R5: Prefer Anglo Saxon (out of sorts) with Ruckus and Crash & Burn dangers.

Thats all i did, and just posting here as a sounder for my forry into sand racing.

Whoisu

If your selections come good not only will you have ample buckaroos to play this weekend, but also enough to purchase Russian Sage from Barry!!

Good luck

My battle would be in converting turf performances to sand. In the UK very few horses switch from turf to AW and carry their performances with them. The most successful jockies on AW differ vastly from those on Turf. many punters follow the top turf jockeys and horses onto AW and get burn't.

Asiatic Boy is one that springs to mind around sand and turf.

It is just too mind boggling to think that you could just carry a turf record over to sand, while at the same time you could not just ignore a good turf performer.

I think it comes down to the fact that you can only ever go with a horse which has proven performance on the surface, and if there are too few of them, or a classy threat from the turf, pass the race.

Afternoon All

Really like Everwood in the next. Had a long lyoff before stepping back onto the track, and was a length off Signet Ring when they last met.

Sometimes [I'm not saying this is the case with Everwood] when a horse has such a long layoff, its leg related, and the sand works wonders for it to run in.

Whoisu, this is second run in the sand for Everwood, and first time was its best run. Drawn well and Mienie up, could be a winner!
