Hi Dean no offence meant and non taken.
It is possible you have been around in racing for a while and I am about sure you may seen AF ride in his younger days (relatively younger or AM age then) then you may seen some tight finishes that the Candyman was involved in. Certain finishes (Clairwood was his fav. course) that never left anything in doubt.
Another rider that rode for his life in a tight finish was Muis Roberts. That is a great rider.

Yes I have seen him ride back then and lately. Not saying the man is useless or bad. He is very good and his ride style with soft hands is different where he almost does not ask the horse for maximum effort. (My opinion)

That aside give us a winner today.

Also - Believe one of AM's greatest strengths is placing horses in winning positions within the first 200-400 of a race. His mounts generally have every chance if they good enough.

Every jockey in the world needs to be respected, in fact everybody who works no matter what they do needs to be respected for what job they do.

I came off a horse and the bones in my left forearm ended up looking at me. I have had 4 operations on the arm with pins and plates. Not a good experience yet these jockeys who know the dangers turn up day after day and race so that in itself shows that they have big balls. Most who have a go have never sat on a horse let alone raced it.

I think that AM is a very good jockey but far from the best and eons from been given the accolade of Superman. What would you call Moore then. So please stop with this Superman crap as i am sure that he blushes when he hears that.
